When you volunteer at La Tienda Thrift Store or Restoration Thrift, you directly support the comprehensive recovery services that help broken men rebuild their lives and reconnect with their families.

Meaningful Ways to Serve

Our thrift store volunteer opportunities offer flexible scheduling and diverse roles that can match your specific skills and availability:

  • Stocking: Help stock shelves, clean and dust items on display shelves and look for items that may have lost their price tag. Help restock the clothing department, ensuring that clothing items are hung in their proper locations throughout the store and help keep clothing racks fully stocked.

  • Store Cleanliness: Return clothes or other items to their proper department when left around the store. Rehang clothes that have fallen from hangers or that may have fallen on the floor under the clothing racks.

  • Customer Service: Assist the cashier in wrapping and bagging items that have been purchased. Assist cashier in returning items to their proper department if a customer decides not to purchase an item at the register. Help customers find a specific department within the store. Help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and community support.

  • Display and Merchandising: Apply your creative talents to creating attractive displays that showcase items effectively and enhance the shopping experience. Help sort and display jewelry at the front counter.
