Joshua House, a vital part of Hope Restoration Ministries, offers men the opportunity to break free from addiction, rediscover their purpose, and rebuild their futures with God’s love, healing, and power. With locations in San Clemente and Oceanside, CA, Joshua House provides more than shelter—it is a Christ-centered family, committed to transformation and renewal. Joshua House is a safe haven for men overcoming homelessness, addiction, and broken relationships. Grounded in faith, we care for each individual as a family member, addressing their spiritual, emotional, physical, and practical needs holistically.
The beginning of each man’s transformative journey is a 60-day stay at God’s Ranch, a peaceful retreat in Phelan, CA. This critical phase marks the beginning of a profound shift, where participants sever ties with the harmful influences and environments that have held them back. Within the safe and supportive setting of God’s Ranch, men are afforded the time to detoxify and begin healing, both physically and emotionally, as they clear their minds and find clarity. However, the transformation extends far beyond physical restoration—it is deeply rooted in spiritual renewal. Each day at God’s Ranch is an opportunity to reconnect with faith through immersion in prayer, study of God’s Word, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This process re-centers their lives on a foundation of divine love and strength, empowering them to embrace the hope and courage needed for a brighter future. The stay at God’s Ranch is more than a retreat; it is a sacred first step toward reclaiming their lives and rebuilding their futures through God’s unwavering grace.

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to providing comprehensive care that supports individuals in every step of their journey toward recovery and independence. We place a strong emphasis on educational and vocational growth, empowering participants to unlock their potential through opportunities such as GED completion, college enrollment, and life skills training. These foundational tools prepare them for long-term success, equipping them to rebuild their lives with confidence and purpose. Health and wellness remain central to our approach, as we ensure access to critical services including eye exams, prescription glasses, dental care, and other essential medical needs, promoting both physical and mental well-being. To foster lasting independence, our graduates receive practical resources to help them establish stability, including a car, six months of paid registration and insurance, and one month of rent-free housing in our second-phase program. Additionally, our legal support services are designed to address significant challenges, helping participants resolve court cases, pay outstanding fines, complete DUI programs, and manage child support obligations. Together, these efforts provide a robust framework for transformation, enabling individuals to reclaim their futures with dignity, strength, and hope.
